Swisslog acquires Demo3D Demonstration Software from AutoLogic Systems

Swisslog, the global supplier of integrated logistics solutions, has acquired the Demo3D material handling system demonstration and controls testing software from AutoLogic Systems, a leading UK provider of specialist software and consulting for all stages of the supply chain.

Swisslog will use the Demo3D software to support their pre-sales operation by demonstrating their latest facility designs to clients.  By replicating their automated equipment product range and control systems in Demo3D, Swisslog can very quickly produce models of the integrated solutions selected for installation.

Demo3D allows Swisslog engineers to replicate real time operation. The new QuickStart catalogue feature automatically handles the transfer protocol for an integrated system so the model build and configuration can be carried out quickly and easily. With the ability to import highly realistic graphic images in many formats for enhancing presentation impact, Swisslog can present system proposals as movie files and dynamic models in a web-enabled environment to their clients.
