Causeway acquires E-SAFE 100

Tuesday, 9 December 2008

Causeway has announced the acquisition of E-SAFE 100, the mobile auditing software product.

E-SAFE 100's fully managed software solution dramatically reduces manual reporting and improves audits and inspections for any number of inspectors across single or multiple locations. By simplifying and automating the audit process, it enables companies in Construction to meet their compliance challenges, as well as significantly improving performance with its consistent and standards based approach.

Data is captured electronically via PDA or laptop and downloaded to the business information management system for real time monitoring and analysis. It can check health & safety performance, carry out snagging inspections, compare contractor performance, measure for best practice and allow for the automated escalation of an alert so that preventative action can be taken where necessary.

E-SAFE 100's construction industry clients include Midas and Ellmer which both use the software on PDAs to automate critical inspection and audit information management including health & safety and snagging.

Commenting on the acquisition, Causeway's CEO, Philip Brown explained: "E-SAFE 100's mobile solution will add value to our customer base with a reliable, easy to use solution that ensures compliance and significantly reduces business risk."

E-SAFE 100's Director Andy McDonald added: "We are delighted to be part of Causeway. The strategic fit is obvious, with our mobile solutions collecting vital compliance data from the field and feeding this directly into core client systems already provided by Causeway."
