Wesco Production Tools, a major supplier of tooling and integrated systems to major automotive companies partner with Lighthouse Systems and Crane Electronics on large scale project within major automotive facility

Lighthouse Systems, a leading provider of shopfloor data collection software, announced that it has partnered with Wesco Production Tools and Crane Electronics to offer a best in class Torque Management and data collection solution to a major automotive company.

In this case, the core manufacturing processes is vehicle assembly. Engineers are responsible for the proper collection of many hundreds of joints during a vehicle assembly process.  The company demanded a real-time view of each step in the process to ensure the proper torques were taken at the proper frequency.  In an effort to communicate the status of the process in real time, the customer requested a series of dashboards designed to the role of the user.

"The dashboard concept is an excellent way to communicate the status of the process to the proper Engineer.  The fact that Lighthouse has an ability to tailor their user screens to the role of the user was definitely a key component in earning this business" said Rob Anderson, General Manager of Wesco Production Tools.
