4Projects attains Gold
4Projects, a Software as a Service company, announced today the attainment of Gold Certification in the Microsoft Partner Program. This certification distinguishes 4Projects as a Microsoft partner with the highest level of competence and expertise with Microsoft technologies. To achieve the Gold level, 4Projects demonstrated proven success meeting client needs as well as achieving Microsoft competencies and certifications.
"Becoming a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner is a great achievement for a Software as a Service company. We started working through the certification process less than six months ago, and reached the requisite number of certified personnel, technical competencies and customer references in this short span of time." said Richard Vertigan, CEO of 4Projects.
"The Microsoft partner program is recognised as one of the strongest industry partner and channel programs in the solutions and technology space and we are proud to be part of it."
"Customers are looking for partner companies that can meet their business and technology demands whilst remaining flexible, particularly during uncertain market conditions" said Simon Gautrey, Software-plus-Services Lead, SMSP, Microsoft, UK.
"They need to trust in a company that can help with both their long and short-term strategic technology plans. Microsoft recognises 4Projects as a new Gold Certified Partner for demonstrating its expertise in providing a proven Software as a Service solution using Microsoft products and technology."
As one of the requirements for attaining Gold Certified Partner status, partners needed to achieve one or more Microsoft Competencies. In doing so 4Projects has further distinguished itself by earning four Microsoft competencies: Business Intelligence, Information Worker, Custom Development and Security Solutions.
Within the Information Worker Competency 4Projects has attained the Collaboration and Portals Specialisation. Microsoft Competencies are designed to help differentiate a partner's capabilities with specific Microsoft technologies to customers looking for a particular type of solution. Each competency has a unique set of requirements and benefits, formulated to accurately represent the specific skills and services that partners bring to the technology industry.
"Achieving this status is a reflection of our commitment to continually enhancing our technology and product functionality," says Nick Graham, 4Projects. Product Development Manager "Becoming Gold Certified represents another milestone in the growth of 4Projects collaboration solutions, built on the .NET 3.5 platform."
"This is great testimony to our development team and consultants who, by listening and understanding client's business challenges, are able to provide the premier solution to meet an organisation's long term business objectives," says Richard Vertigan, CEO of 4Projects.
He continues: "Clearly becoming a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner is a great accolade in itself, but as importantly for us, it also provides a key differentiator. For us, this award recognises our ability to understand and translate our client's business issues into a long term technology solution. It's recognition of our employees who provide the heart to our organisation."
