Glovia International releases new ERP

Fujitsu Limited and Glovia International Ltd have announced the release of their new manufacturing ERP solution glovia G2.

glovia G2 is the next generation ERP solution from Glovia International combining the proven functionality, reliability and scalability of Glovia solutions with new technology to create an open, powerful enterprise manufacturing solution.

Microsoft .NET & Silverlight technologies are combined with powerful services to create an open, extensible environment with a new user experience giving users visibility in to their operations to expose the power of glovia G2 in a global distribution and manufacturing environment.

“When making a change of this magnitude, one of the most important considerations is our existing customer base”, says Jim Errington, Managing Director EMEA at Glovia International. “Customers want to adopt new technology as well as keep their existing investment in software and their people.”

glovia G2 accomplishes this by combining technology layers in a seamless stack, providing a transformational business experience and open architecture, with a simple migration path for existing customers.

These customers include over 1200 manufacturing sites worldwide, as well as a number of Fujitsu Group factories in Japan, EMEA and at other international locations.
