The Country Range Group chooses Sanderson for Wholesale solution
Sanderson, the publicly owned UK provider of software solutions to the Delivered Wholesale and Cash & Carry industries, has won a contract to supply its Business Intelligence solution to The Country Range Group Ltd.
The Country Range central office, where the system is to be installed, works on behalf of 14 independent wholesale food suppliers who operate out of over 20 depots throughout the UK and Channel Islands. Of vital importance to The Country Range Group is their ability to have access to accurate statistics on what their members are selling and purchasing. The Business Intelligence analytics system from Sanderson enables Country Range members to automatically submit sales and purchase data each evening to the central office.
The Sanderson solution will provide Country Range with the information they require to manage their operations effectively. Business Intelligence, from Sanderson, is a powerful reporting tool that analyses company-wide information stored within the system. This provides a quick and simple way of interrogating data. Information is viewed graphically; in charts and dashboards, so that sales, purchasing and stock information can be viewed as Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), helping to improve decision making and overall efficiency.
Troy McKee, Trading Controller for The Country Range Group, said: "A key benefit of the Sanderson system will be the additional speed and scope of group communications. The Country Range Group is well known for its coordinated activities and disciplines, and with the added benefit of this powerful IT solution, management information on purchasing and sales from around the country will be vastly improved."
Jackie Taylor, Sales Director for Wholesale Distribution solutions at Sanderson, commented: “The Business Intelligence system will allow Country Range to analyse sales by product, wholesaler and region. This information will help their members understand more about the range of products they sell and can also be used to negotiate better deals with key suppliers.”
