Easy Price Pro develops estimating software for BuildBase

Easy Price Pro has joined forces with BuildBase, the national builders’ merchant to create BuildBase Estimating Software. Kieron Windsor-Brown, one of Easy Price Pro’s area managers went to the BuildBase headquarters to demonstrate Easy Price Pro to their Board of Directors. He got a hugely positive reaction. Kieron said after the meeting: “They absolutely loved it!” The BuildBase Directors decided there and then that this was the software they wanted their name on."

BuildBase Estimating Software has all the features of the original Easy Price Pro software, along with the latest additions in the newly-launched version 5. It also includes a unique BuildBase feature: users can download prices directly for their local BuildBase branches. The program calculates all the materials and quantities required for a job, it then generates purchase that can be sent via the Internet, directly to any branch of BuildBase.

Paul Betts, Director of Easy Price Pro explains how this can assist builders: “Easy Price Pro software always gets great reviews and excellent feedback from our customers, but some of our users requested downloadable prices from a builders’ merchant. The software has been designed not to be exclusively tied in with a merchant because many builders use several merchants for different materials. With the BuildBase version, the builder gets the best of both worlds, they can download up to date prices from their local branch, as well as edit them and enter their own prices and discounts if they want. This gives builders total control over the pricing in the quotations they produce and also saves them time. Downloading the large number of material prices takes seconds.”

Easy Price Pro has always ensured their software answers four vital requirements:

• It enables the builder to save a massive amount of time creating estimates. The software is designed by a builder, with vast knowledge and over 20 years of experience in the trade, running a building company.

• It gives the builder a professional image, producing detailed quotations, summaries, management charts and graphs.

The new software was launched on the BuildBase stand at the National Homebuilding & Renovating Show at the NEC in March this year and received a fantastic response with many visitors snapping up a copy there and then.
