JETCAM and 123insight partners with Synergy Composites to create showcase facility

JETCAM International s.a.r.l. and fellow software developer 123 Insight Ltd have announced a partnership with composite manufacturers Synergy Composites whereby an ‘Open Manufacturing Centre of Excellence’ has been created.

The facility is used for Synergy’s day-to -day business, but will also be available for companies to visit by appointment to see the latest technologies and processes in force.

123insight Manufacturing Enterprise Management software is being implemented, and covers the complete workflow from quote generation through to invoicing. It also provides tight integration into JETCAM Expert’s orders and materials databases. Once orders are placed within 123insight they are immediately processed by JETCAM’s RCP (Remote Control Processing) system. Relevant geometry files are located and nested, with NC code immediately available on the shopfloor. RCP then reports the status back to 123insight .

JETCAM Expert CAM and nesting software is used to automatically process CAD files and to generate highly optimised nests, ready for cutting. It is also integrated into JETCAM’s material life, order and nest management suite which provides complete traceability of material from initial delivery, time in and out of the freezer, through to individual plies and finally the finished part. Staff can obtain realtime information on orders, nests, ply/part information and material across the network.

Both JETCAM Expert and 123insight have received industry recognition and have won awards for their ability to deliver a fast return on investment due to the quantifiable savings they deliver.

Therefore the company saw it as a natural step to implement the full complement of integrated systems from 123insight and JETCAM providing what can be described as a centre of excellence.
