IRIS named as one of Britain's fastest growing technology companies
IRIS has been named as one of Britain's fastest growing technology companies in Sunday Times Microsoft Tech Track 100. In its first appearance in the annual league table, the software and services company soars straight into the top 50. The table is produced by Fast Track, an independent research company that tracks the progress of Britain's top performing private companies.
Now in its eighth year, this prestigious league table ranks Britain's fastest growing private technology companies by their sales growth, measured over a three year period. IRIS demonstrates a 64.87% increase in sales with year end figures for 2008 recorded as £94.9m, up from £21.1m in 2005.
The Tech Track 100 league table is said to "provide a snapshot of some of Britain's best performing technology companies at a pivotal moment in the economic cycle" and highlights those firms "that are likely to go on flourishing as the economy turns down."
The emphasis IRIS places on product and service excellence is seen as an important differentiator and is evidenced by one of the highest customer retention rates in the industry, 95%.
Over the last seven years, Martin Leuw, CEO, and his team have ‘masterminded' a transformation of IRIS from a company with a single focus to a software and services company that operates in a clearly defined range of professional service sectors where the automation of key tasks is proven to save time and money.
Martin commented on the results: "We are delighted that IRIS' carefully managed growth programme has been recognised by this year's Sunday Times Microsoft Tech Track 100 league table. We believe we offer our customers a unique combination; the development of innovative products using Microsoft technology in a range of clearly defined market sectors, one-to-one personal service and both reliability and stability in a rapidly changing world."
