TXT e-solutions and s.Oliver go-live with demand forecasting
TXT e-solutions, a global supply chain management software vendor, and s.Oliver, a leading fashion retailer in Europe, announce that two parallel implementations of TXTDEMAND, part of the TXTPERFORM Demand & Supply Chain Management suite, have been completed successfully and gone-live after 8 months only, on time and on budget.
TXTDEMAND will enable s.Oliver to carry out budget planning for all products in the 1,500 points of sale it serves through wholesale and franchise channels across Germany and other EU and non-EU countries. After a previous Budgeting and Assortment Planning project carried out two years ago for its German retail network went live in 4 months, s.Oliver showed continuous trust in TXT e-solutions and took the decision to extend the project.
TXTDEMAND will also support s.Oliver's Demand Forecasting and Replenishment Planning processes for never-out-of-stock (NOOS) articles, delivering the capability for the fashion company to carry out sell-out based forecasting at individual product (SKU) level and on a weekly basis for around 3,000 SKUs. The solution will replace the existing system. This, it said, is an important step in generating an accurate replenishment plan for its distribution centres as part of its NOOS strategy.
