RedSky IT win Estimating & Valuations Product of the Year 2008 award
The winners of the Construction Computing HAMMERS III awards were announced on the 20th November 2008 at a gala dinner held at the Tower Hotel in London with RedSky IT winning the Estimating and Valuation Product of the Year 2008 award.
Mike Aspinwall Managing Director of RedSky IT commented: "This award is voted for by our customers and is a testament to our continued success in delivering integrated operational and financial management systems that deliver real benefits to the end user. Coupled with our recent iTSHOWCASE award for Best Construction Process Management 2008, it confirms that our strategy of offering solutions that tightly integrate key business functions is really helping the industry."
The award was presented jointly by Josh Boulton of Construction Computing Magazine and the comedian Patrick Monahan who entertained the attendees with an evening of observations and contemporary comment.
The Summit solutions can provide a single integrated system covering the complete construction management process, from estimating, sub contract tendering, ordering the sub contract packages, requisitions and ordering or plant and materials, managing plant, valuations, financials and payroll. The flexibility of being able to deploy the system on Windows/SQL Server or Linux/Oracle as well as a choice of web or windows user interface has also contributed to it popularity.
