Survey & Construction Ltd implements new accounting solution through Armstrong
Surrey-based Survey and Construction Ltd has chosen Armstrong Consultants to implement its new financial system at its Whyteleafe base. Armstrong will be implementing the award-winning Access Dimensions Lite solution, with a longer term plan to implement Armstrong's own web-based project management system, FocalPoint, as part of phase two of the project.
A key requirement for Survey and Construction Ltd was HMRC-approved CIS capability within the core accounts software. Following new legislation introduced in April 2007, companies who use sub-contactors are now obliged to provide accurate and timely information to HMRC or face fines. Payroll functionality was also a key consideration. There is also the potential to replace Survey's existing contract management software with Armstrong's own FocalPoint solution in future phases of the implementation. Dimensions Lite will have six users.
Vic Sawyer, CEO of Survey and Construction Ltd, commented: "Ideally we were looking for an accounting system that meets our current requirements but crucially had the capability to grow and expand with us. Access Dimensions Lite and the integrated project management solution, FocalPoint, offered by Armstrong Consultants provided the best fit for our organisation."
With roots established in 1974, Survey and Construction Ltd is a privately-owned company specialising in exceptional levels of quality and service. This dedication to excellence has resulted in steady year-on-year growth, and the development of a broad 'Blue Chip' customer base. Survey and Construction Ltd is approved by all of the major manufacturers and selects its products on performance, quality and economic factors.
