Record attendance at the Adris Inventor User Group!
In April, Adris Computing Concepts (UK subsidiary of Graitec) held their annual Inventor User Group to coincide with the 2010 release of Autodesk software. We had a record attendance of 130 customers and prospects; almost double that of previous years.
The day showcased all the new features and functionality of the software and also featured 3 Tips & Tricks sessions, showing people how best to utilise the software in their drawing offices. We also set up a mini-exhibition area with representatives from Man & Machine, Art Systems, AMD, and 3DConnexion (3D mouse), giving our customers valuable advice on all things CAD-related, including hardware, graphics cards, printing and monitors.
“This was by far the best User Group I have been to in the past 5 years” said Paul Moates, CAD Manager, Centrax.
Following on from the Inventor User Group we also held a Construction Launch event for the 2010 release of Architectural and Building Services software from Autodesk in early June.
The format was similar to that previously with expert help and advice on hand, but we split into two sessions, one for AutoCAD Architecture and Revit Architecture and one for AutoCAD MEP and Revit MEP. This meant that we were able to offer customers and prospects more tailored presentations to suit their business needs.
We have had some excellent feedback from all those that attended, we are taking onboard every comment and are already looking towards next years’ event with a view to how we can make it even better!
