Graitec sign first Advance Steel deal in India
GRAITEC announces the first sale of their flagship product Advance Steel to Indian-based company Intech Designs Private Limited.
Graitec first entered into the Indian market last month when they signed an agreement with Paras CADD to become one of their resellers. Demonstrating Graitec’s commitment to the construction industry, Paras CADD took the total number of resellers up to 23, in addition to the 11 Graitec offices worldwide.
Intech Designs, civil and structural engineers based in Mumbai, have invested in Advance Steel, the leading structural steel solution from Graitec. Intech has considerable experience working in the complete design and detailing of all types of structures, including; conventional steel framed buildings, reinforced concrete buildings, masonry structures, wood framed buildings, industrial facilities and telecommunication towers and facilities.
Advance Steel is an easy to use AutoCAD-based 3D structural modelling solution for automating the creation of structural steel drawings and documentation. Mr. Junia Alva, Managing Director of Intech Designs India comments: “Advance Steel has impressed us with its user friendliness and ability to generate quality drawings quickly with a minimum of errors.’’
Advance Steel is a global steel solution, available in over 40 countries. This was of particular interest to Paras CADD who works with some of the largest companies in the United States, Latin America, Europe and India. Mr. Alva comments: “the purchase of Advance Steel has turned out to be an excellent investment and we have got a new dimension to expand our business potential into Indian Markets as the software is used by major Oil and Gas Engineering companies.’’
Mr. Amit Borele, Managing Director of Paras CADD comments: “We are very pleased that Graitec’s solutions have been very well received in the Indian market. Customers are very happy with user friendliness, flexibility and robustness of the software.” Mr Borele continues: “With the feedback we have received from various clients, I am confident that Graitec’s solutions will become de-facto standard for Indian industry, for all steel and concrete jobs by the end of the year.”
