GRAITEC expands business activities in North America
GRAITEC, the international software developer for CAD and structural analysis solutions for civil engineering is pleased to announce the appointment of Dan Monette as Vice President of North American Sales for the GRAITEC Group.
GRAITEC announces the hiring of Dan Monette effective since July 1st, former channel development manager at SolidWorks, as vice president of North American sales. With more than 25 years of sales and marketing experience in the CAD software industry, he will oversee GRAITEC’s North American Sales organization, responsible for overall sales execution and customer satisfaction. In this role, he will lead GRAITEC’s effort to establish a channel of value-added resellers, grow its revenues, customer base, and sales organization. Dan Monette will report to Chief Operating Officer, Alexandre Tartas.
Alexandre Tartas comments: “GRAITEC looks forward to partnering with the best value-added resellers in North America. The GRAITEC value proposition to partners will be quite simple: we will certify companies to sell and support great software that will enable their customers save time and money, while providing industry-leading profit margins. Providing healthy margins will enable our partners to invest in building their own businesses. Dan’s extensive channel management expertise and proven success in generating new revenue will help GRAITEC deliver on its growth targets throughout the North American region. GRAITEC is pleased to welcome Dan to the company and the senior management team.”
Prior to joining GRAITEC, Monette worked at SolidWorks Corporation, where he helped build the most-respected channel of value-added resellers in the mechanical CAD software industry. As part of the startup team and their first sales manager, Dan helped build the reseller channel. More recently as manager of channel development, Dan consulted with VAR owners around the world to assess and improve their business operations. Previous to SolidWorks, he held several sales and marketing positions at Computervision Corporation.
