Digital duo are seen as role model entrepreneurs

Monday, 16 November 2009

Two young entrepreneurs are quickly finding themselves becoming role models in the digital sector after their fledgling internet company found success.

Brothers Paul and David King joined up this year to launch web-based time management software 1DayLater and are aiming to achieve six figure revenues in year one.

The King brothers, who have embarked on a six-month fellowship at Teesside University's Institute of Digital Innovation, say their idea could help companies make thousands of pounds of savings.
Their web-based software helps time-poor bosses manage their resources by logging reports on staff travel, client invoices and business costs.

Paul King said: “Initially we targeted one-man bands and start-ups but we've found large public sectors organisations have shown interest.

“It's been a really rewarding journey, and we've enjoyed every second of starting a business in the midst of this recession. We hope to inspire others to follow in our footsteps and to tap into the help that is available for people in this industry. The future looks bright for our company, contrary to what we've been led to believe.”
