Union Square extends dominance with Archetype acquisition
Union Square Software, the leading provider of advanced document and data management systems to the construction industry today announced the acquisition of Archetype Software Limited, the specialist provider of practice management software for Architects and Engineers.
Based in Glasgow Archetype have been providing integrated software solutions since 2001 and has an established base of more than 250 customers all over the world. Archetype software is a leader in the provision of systems for small and medium sized practices delivering email, drawing, job costing and fee management solutions.
Richard Vincent, Managing Director of Union Square Software commenting on the acquisition said: “Archetype Software adds a very talented team that has delivered exceptional solutions during the last decade. Strategically this adds significant horse power to our portfolio of solutions and will significantly strengthen our offering for small and medium sized practices. The market for practice wide data and document management systems is maturing rapidly and our combined resources and knowledge will enable us to deliver better value and sophistication for this part of the market.”
