MPS sponsor annual Builder & Engineer Awards
Management Process Systems Limited (MPS) of Cambridge, the UKs leading provider of NEC contract management systems, sponsored the Consulting Engineer of the Year Award at the 7th annual Builder & Engineer awards dinner at the Palace Hotel in Manchester in October 2010. The Consulting Engineer award was won by URS/Scott Wilson, with Arup and TACE also competing.
The Contract Change Management CCM system provided by MPS is a three time construction industry award winning solution, and is the first UK implementation of Software as a Service (SaaS) to support the NEC. MPS hold the IBM Software Platinum Achievement Award as IBM Independent Software Vendor of the Year.
8 of the top 10 civil engineering consultants, as defined by the New Civil Engineer contractors file and 7 of the top 10 contractors as defined by the Construction News CN insight 100 league table use CCM. In addition, 7 of the top 10 consultant project managers as described in Building magazines top consultants edition use or have used CCM for contract change management in many of their NEC projects.

The Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) CCM system is delivered through an agreement with IBM for Server Managed Services. This agreement includes data centre, hardware equipment and software products, internet services, security and support services.
