Karndean selects Maxima for Microsoft Dynamics CRM cloud project
Maxima, a leading IT business systems and managed services company, has been selected by Karndean International to deploy Microsoft Dynamics CRM on a software-as-a-service (SaaS) basis to some 80-plus UK users in the first phase of a major multi-national cloud CRM deployment. Karndean is a global leader in the supply of residential and commercial vinyl flooring, and the new Maxima SaaS solution will feature SaaS Microsoft Dynamics CRM pre-tailored specifically to support Karndean's various channel, specific lead management and sales force automation requirements.
Karndean will primarily use its Maxima cloud CRM solution for lead management and sales force automation, automatically logging web-generated sales leads in the Dynamics CRM system and processing them via the appropriate retail, commercial and distribution channels. The new cloud CRM solution will support the management of sales and marketing activity by providing Karndean with a powerful tool for supporting its different channel and marketing type activities.
"Selecting a Microsoft Dynamics CRM cloud-based deployment from Maxima made excellent sense as the company combines deep construction industry expertise with all the technology and management skills needed for effective cloud deployments," commented Dean Furlong, Karndean, Business Consultant. "Maxima particularly impressed us with its ability to deliver in a very short timescale, completing an initial pilot for test users in just one day, with rapid deployment taking just a further day. Cloud-based CRM makes excellent sense for Karndean as, once correctly configured, you just have to switch it on - removing all the costs, time and effort associated with lengthy implementations.
"Where Maxima's skills really come in to play, however, is the company's ability to ensure that our Microsoft Dynamics CRM SaaS solution maps directly on to our specific business requirements. Working with Maxima's Business Solutions team, we'll also be using Cloud CRM to automatically import and filter project leads from external databases, integrate the solution with our partner portal for consumer lead management, as well as manage our sales incentive and rewards programme," continued Dean.
"Maxima is ideally placed to support organisations such as Karndean International in the delivery of cloud-based IT solutions. Backed by the technology resources of key partners such as Microsoft, Citrix and IBM, we can offer all the components needed to help organisations such as Karndean take advantage of cloud computing in their organisation, including the business solutions skills needed to offer applications-as-a-service, the infrastructure and support enablement services experience to deliver infrastructure-as-a-service, as well as proven managed services capabilities," added Maxima's Chief Executive Officer, Graham Kingsmill. "With Maxima, Karndean has also benefited from our in-depth customisation capabilities, with detailed integration to their website and back-office Navision solutions, as well as full roll-out to end-users on both laptops and BlackBerrys within just six weeks."
Implementing a CRM solution based on a SaaS model provides organisations with a predictable cost model based on a highly resilient and secure technology platform backed by rigorous Service Level Agreements. Key benefits of a hosted Microsoft Dynamics CRM solution delivered by Maxima include rapid deployment, access to the latest application versions and increased flexibility, and the support of a long-standing Microsoft Gold Certified Partner with in-depth experience in delivering Microsoft Dynamics CRM solutions on premise, off premise or delivered as a SaaS solution in the cloud.
