Preactor link bridges gap between APS and ERP/MES
Preactor International, a leading specialist planning and scheduling Software Company, launches ‘Preactor Link’, a connectivity solution based on Missing Link Technology’s Connectelligence ESB technology.
The Preactor Link provides seamless connectivity and automation of traffic between any Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and Preactor’s Advanced Planning and Scheduling (APS) solutions. The Preactor Link contains pre-defined maps for all standard Preactor interface fields which can easily be modified. Through the GUI designer, new data sources and custom rules can be added which further enhances the connector’s functionality and flexibility. The Preactor Link also provides extensive reporting capabilities.
Mike Novels, CEO of Preactor International, commented on the Preactor Link and the collaboration with Missing Link Technology: “We are delighted to work with Missing Link Technology to develop the Preactor Link which will streamline the exchange of data between Preactor and any ERP or MES system. Preactor has 18 years proven experience of enabling ERP and MES systems and the Preactor Link in combination with our APS solutions will further facilitate the ability of manufacturers to get the best from their existing ERP/MES investment.”
Mark Johansson, CTO of Missing Link Technology, is equally enthusiastic about the collaboration: “The inclusion of our technology into the Preactor Link further demonstrates the versatility and flexibility of our Connectelligence ESB solution. The Preactor link is easy to use, works ‘out of the box’ and can shorten implementation times for end users needing to connect to ERP and MES systems.”
The Preactor Link is currently available as a stand-alone module from Preactor International. A library of leading MES/ERP adaptors is currently being developed which will be all be downloadable and free of charge.
