Independent cheese manufacturer selects LINKFresh
Anglia Business Solutions has announced that Lancashire based Singleton’s Dairy, one of Britain’s most successful independent cheese manufacturers, has selected the LINKFresh suite to manage its supply chain operations.
The project will involve upgrading Singleton’s existing Microsoft Dynamics NAV solution to the latest 2009 version as part of the LINKFresh deployment. LINKFresh will be implemented across all aspects of Singleton’s operations. These include Financial Management, Sales & Purchase Order Processing, EDI Management, Warehouse Operations, Production & Inventory Management, Advanced Costing & profitability Analysis and Quality Assurance. Future phases will enable factory floor personnel to use touchscreens as productivity aids while advanced mobility applications will enable warehouse staff to record stock movements and capture QC information.
Commenting on the project, Tilly Carefoot, Singleton’s Managing Director said: “Singleton’s business is experiencing rapid growth and we need a modern integrated and streamlined business management solution that provides the required functionality to meet our operational requirements both now and in the future.” Carefoot continues: “The LINKFresh suite ideally meets our needs by providing transparency throughout our supply chain. This will provide our people with real time inventory visibility while supplying invaluable management information on trends impacting our business.”
Anglia’s Commercial Director, Robert Frost, said: “We are delighted to welcome Singleton’s Dairy as a new LINKFresh customer. We are looking forward to working with them on implementing their solution which will help them achieve important efficiencies in their business processes.”
