New Sage 200 works with more mobile devices & adds e-marketing
Sage 200 2011, the latest version of the popular mid-market ERP suite from Sage, delivers increased mobile device access and includes a new, powerful e-marketing tool. Released in May 2011, the new version also includes enhancements to the products manufacturing, business intelligence, timesheets and expenses functionality.
Sage 200 is a fully integrated ERP solution and a business-wide application. Rather than having to use separate, unconnected software applications to run different business functions, the Sage 200 suite enables a company to manage all of its key businesses processes from within a single software suite.
Commenting on the new features in Sage 200 2011, Chris Smith, Senior ERP Consultant at Concentrix TSG said: “There are some valuable enhancements in Sage 200 2011. There’s a great migration tool that makes it even easier to upgrade to the product, it now works with iPhone’s and there’s an impressive e-marketing tool within the CRM module which marketing and sales staff will love.”
Mobile access is a key part of Sage’s strategy for Sage 200, and Sage 200 2011 now works with Apple products including the iPad and iPhone, as well as Blackberry devices. Sage has also rewritten the product’s web time and expenses module, so users can submit expenses and timesheets from anywhere they can access the internet.
Smith continues: “As an ERP software business, Sage really listens to its customers and business partners. Many of the new features are a direct result of feedback from people that use Sage 200 as part of their day-to-day work routine and will deliver some quick gains to anyone upgrading.”
Sage 200 has a clear roadmap and plan for future updates. This includes producing a fully cloud-based version of the product by the end of 2012, continuing to increase the Sage 200’s accessibility, and making it easy for anyone to use.
Smith concludes: “The Sage 200 suite is one of the best mid-market ERP solutions available, and Sage 200 2011 builds on the success of previous versions. If you’re looking to improve your business efficiency with a fully integrated business management software suite or feel you’ve outgrown a product like Sage 50, Sage 200 2011 should certainly be on your list of products to consider.”
