Engineering Document Management in the Cloud
Cadac Organice BV, Microsoft Gold ISV Partner and developer of the Cadac Organice Product Suite, has teamed up with Rackspace to offer SharePoint-based Engineering Document Management and Control in the Cloud. Rackspace is a tier 1 hosting provider and one of the world's leading specialists in hosting and cloud solutions.
Cadac Organice is a SharePoint-based solution for Engineering Document Management and Control that was introduced in 2004. Companies worldwide in the AEC, Process Industry, Manufacturing and Utilities are successfully using the solution on-premise. But for various reasons, companies are not always able to setup and maintain an on-premise SharePoint infrastructure. Further, project-driven engineering industries are often in need for a project environment on short notice. With the new Cloud Solution, Cadac Organice is able to offer clients a hosted and prepared environment. This environment can be used instantly and includes the Cadac Organice Product Suite for engineering document management and control functionality.
For its Cloud Solution, Cadac Organice has teamed up with Rackspace, a tier 1 hosting provider active since 1998 with 130.000 customers worldwide. According to Gartner Group (Magic Quadrant for Cloud Infrastructure as a Service and Web Hosting: December 2010), Rackspace is one of the world's leading specialist in hosting and cloud solutions. For business critical applications and data such as document management solutions, Rackspace is able to offer the highest level of security, performance and uptime. The partnership is based upon Rackspace's "Intensive hosting", "Fanatical support" and "Unmetered managed backup". This allows Cadac Organice to offer customers the highest service level.
The Cadac Organice Cloud Solution is available to customers from September 1st, 2011 and is already successfully in use by companies like FMC Technologies, Weatherford, Royal Haskoning and VolkerInfra.
