Leading building products manufacturer selects Maxima Cloud service for CRM
Maxima, a leading IT business systems and managed services company, has been selected by Kingspan Insulation to implement a Microsoft Dynamics CRM solution that features Maxima's own specialist Construction Industry solution for Dynamics CRM. Maxima will initially host the Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 application as a cloud service for initial development, before deploying the system to Kingspan's corporate data centre in Dublin where it will support between 160 and 200 Kingspan Insulation users across Europe.
Kingspan Insulation's new Microsoft Dynamics CRM solution will replace a previous generation application, and will ensure that the company benefits from an easily customisable solution that delivers standardised customer information across its operations in the UK, Ireland and the Netherlands, and remains flexible as Kingspan adds new businesses, products and sales team to the organisation. Maxima's Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 for Construction solution, also ensures a more structured and co-ordinated approach across organisations, enabling firms such as Kingspan with extensive product portfolios to better manage multiple bids for the same project where different contractors and merchants are involved.
"We needed a new CRM solution as the company was expanding in Europe and our current system wasn't able to support our increasingly complex sales data requirements. Having worked with Maxima on previous projects, we knew the company understood the complexities of our business," commented Peter Smith, Divisional IT Manager for Kingspan Insulation. "We initially looked at a range of proposals from SAP and Microsoft specialists, but chose Maxima to implement a Dynamics CRM solution across our operations primarily because of the company's proven Microsoft Dynamics expertise, its ability to support flexible deployment options such as cloud, and its in-depth construction and building products domain capabilities."
"It's always pleasing when an acknowledged industry leader such as Kingspan Insulation recognises Maxima's strong Microsoft Dynamics capabilities, and particularly the quality and applicability of our Construction Industry solution for Dynamics CRM," added Corinne Steer, Maxima's Chief Marketing Officer. "Kingspan Insulation is also benefiting from our flexible deployment approach, as we're able to deploy their initial CRM development on our hosted Cloud platform - before helping them transition Dynamics CRM to their corporate data centre where they will roll it out across their European operations."
"At Maxima we deliver all the components needed to make Cloud a success for customers such as Kingspan Insulation, enabling connectivity, delivering software as a service through our highly resilient and secure Cloud Services technology platform, and ensuring integration with key back-office and enterprise systems," continued Maxima's Sales and Business Development Director for Cloud, Steven Shepherd.
For the Construction sector, Maxima's Construction Industry solution for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 allows organisations such as Kingspan Insulation to manage all their sales, marketing and customer service activity by customer, contact, specifier, project and stocklist, with sector-specific versions available for Contractors, Building Products, Plant Hire Suppliers, Architects and Consultants. Key functionality includes the ability to share information, manage multiple channels, increase win rates, improve marketing effectiveness, make more informed decisions, and manage all contacts and projects from within the familiar corporate Microsoft Outlook environment.
For building products manufacturers such as Kingspan, the combination of Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 and Maxima's Construction Industry solution allows the tracking of all sales and marketing activity by customer, contact, specifier, influencer and merchant. It also ensures a deep project focus, allowing firms to maintain close working relationships with stockists and distributors while also influencing specifiers and end-users - ultimately helping to maximise each project opportunity from initial interest through to specification and actual order. The new Maxima solution also supports the creation and modification of accurate quotes by offering a comprehensive product catalogue that supports complex pricing, units of measure, discounts and full traceability.
