Access Mobile releases multi-platform CRM with BlackBerry, iPhone, and Android app

Tuesday, 1 November 2011

Access, the mid-market consulting, software, and solutions provider, has released its Access Mobile app across all three of the major mobile services platforms. This development brings the functionality that was previously only available on the iPhone to BlackBerry and Android smartphones. The app offers timesheets and expense approvals across the three platforms, plus full customer relationship management (CRM).

Greg Dennick, CRM division manager at Access, said: “Our iPhone app has already proved popular with over 1000 downloads, but we’ve recognised that many of our users are on BlackBerry and Android and wanted to expand our mobile offering to those devices.” Access Mobile has been developed to interact with Access systems from the convenience of mobiles, and is configurable so the user can tailor the app to meet their specific requirements.

“With the latest version of the mobile app we’re really putting CRM functionality into the palm of our users’ hands, with contact and account management, customer activities, opportunities and visibility of financial information. It also presents the information as the user wants to view it rather than it being a standard view; it’s fully customisable,” continued Greg.

The CRM functionality on Access Mobile integrates with the map and phone functions, showing routes to customer locations and the ability to dial or email a customer from within the database. “With the scope of Access products and future software development, we’ll constantly be bringing more functionality to users who want to view, edit and access their information on the move,” concluded Greg.
