Sanderson appoints industry expert to spearhead growth of food & drink business
Sanderson, the publicly-owned UK provider of manufacturing and supply chain IT solutions to the food and drink industry, has appointed sector specialist, Mike Gallagher, to further grow and develop its Food and Drink business. Mike will head up new business development for UnityF8, the market’s only significant business solution exclusively focused on food and drink manufacturing.
“Food and drink businesses need a ‘fit for purpose’ solution that is reliably and cost effectively implemented” says Mike. “This means an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system that combines dedicated functionality and focus, with high quality support services from a stable, expert provider. I am delighted to join the Sanderson team as in my opinion, they are uniquely capable of providing all these critical elements as a one-stop-shop - rather than the much lesser realities that prevail in the industry.”
Mike joins Sanderson from Maxima plc. Prior to this he was Sales Manager at Solarsoft Process Manufacturing Systems / SSI. One of a select number of Microsoft Certified Dynamics Sales Professionals in the UK, Mike has an MSc in Information Technology for Manufacturing from Warwick and a BSc (Hons) from Manchester University.
Commenting on Mike’s appointment, Roger Stares, Managing Director of the Sanderson Food and Drink business says: “Mike has strong technical skills, in-depth business analysis expertise and extensive knowledge of the food and drink industry. He is perfectly placed to grow our business by delivering ROI-based solution sales, which will add value to our customers’ businesses from day one. Mike joins Sanderson at a very good time. We have just experienced a record sales period for our latest manufacturing products, and I’m confident Mike’s appointment will enhance this success.”
