George Wimpey UK Ltd., one of the UK's highest volume house builders, has invested in a Performance Management solution from Geac.

Geac will work with George Wimpey UK to configure the system to meet the company's budgeting and forecasting requirements across its 27 operating units in the UK, replacing the existing spreadsheet-based approach.

Geac Performance Management is an integrated product line that enables companies to bolster their effectiveness by tightening the linkage between business strategy formulation and operational execution, and by improving monitoring, reporting, and decision-making. The line comprises modules for planning, budgeting, expense and travel management, forecasting, financial consolidation and reporting and analysis.
