Public and private sector service industry organisations can now easily calculate and monitor financial plans and forecasts with the launch of Collaborative Planning from CedarOpenAccounts, the UK financial management, HR & Payroll and eProcurement solutions provider.
The real-time system offers continuous planning and analysis in a single, web-based solution. All staff work in the same application, using the same data and talking the same language. This eliminates re-keying of figures and results in simplified input, processing and viewing of data, which optimises budgeting and planning processes, and reduces timescales and costs significantly.
Collaborative Planning also allows all key participants to view what they need to do at any one point in time, using instructions that can be general or detailed for specific areas. This is coupled with the ability to apply cause and effect iterations and scenarios before executing strategic decisions.
The solution, developed in conjunction with Beta customers Aer Lingus, London Borough of Camden and Norfolk Police, provides multi-dimensional analysis, along with Central Recharge and Apportionment, Virement / Budget Transfer and Top Down / Mass processing functions. This offers enhanced control over the budgetary process for those involved at all levels of the organisation.
