Kohler Mira, the market leader in domestic and commercial bathroom shower products, has chosen to implement a new wireless RF warehouse management solution with Catalyst International, the warehouse management software solution and SAP consulting specialists.

Established over 80 years ago and recently acquired by Kohler Co, a leading American manufacturer of bathroom and kitchen products, Mira Showers and Rada Controls are market leaders in their field. With a product range sold in over 40 countries worldwide, Mira Showers satisfy the needs of both the domestic and commercial shower user.

Customer service is critical to the business and the new warehouse management solution is designed to further enhance this with improved stock visibility and picking accuracy. It will build on the existing SAP systems used throughout the enterprise and replaces paper-based processes currently used to manage the main distribution centre in Gloucester.

Catalyst will be wireless enabling SAP processes, through deploying a SAPConsole solution to manage all inbound, outbound and internal stock movements. This is an SAP native radio frequency (RF) data collection application for SAP R/3 that addresses mainly warehouse management and inventory management processes.

The solution also takes full advantage of how Catalyst has developed a unique library of transactions to extend the functionality of the SAPConsole throughout the enterprise. These enhancements are seamlessly added to the SAPConsole and work with RF devices without requiring any extra networking investments or middleware.
