Group enhances its portfolio of financial and performance management solutions
Systems Union Group, global provider of Financial and Performance Management solutions, announces the launch of a series of enhancements to its extensive and unrivalled portfolio.
The enriched functionality, scale and breadth of the Group's SunSystems, MIS and Vision solutions will ensure that users continue to benefit from world class financial management capabilities combined with the ability to generate and report comprehensive business intelligence about their operations. The solutions also enable accurate and fully integrated reporting from other core systems employed in today's enterprise which ensures that users have access to all the crucial information required to improve the understanding of business performance and strategic decision making processes.

Financial Management
Among the new SunSystems financial management releases is SunSystems exfm 2, which integrates the very best of SunSystems financial management with MIS and Vision solutions for business intelligence, reporting and analytics into a unified solution, all accessible through a roles-based portal. SunSystems exfm 2 also includes new Procurement and Productivity bundles, providing a compelling ROI in the areas of Procure-to-Pay and Workforce Automation. In addition, SunSystems 522 brings with it new inquiry and reporting tools, improving a business's ability to organise, drill into and interrogate core financial and wider management information.
Reporting
Systems Union's Vision suite of powerful reporting and analytics has been significantly extended with the addition of Vision 6.3.1 which includes multi-language support and the ability to share multiple files and documents as well as publish Vision Executive report slices for viewing over the web. Its new Report Wizard has been designed to allow users to design basic reports without advanced programming skills. Vision netEnterprise is one of the most significant additions to the portfolio. This powerful solution is designed for document storage and sharing as well as report delivery through a simple web interface. For the first time organisations can securely share Vision reports and any other documents and files on an enterprise wide basis. In addition netEnterprise can easily scale up to thousands of web users who will be able to simultaneously view archived report pages. Vision Reporting Services and Serduct Studio 1.3 extend further the users ability to slice and dice data, report across and analyse wider management information while the budgeting process will be enhanced with the addition of a new Vision Budget Management solution. It is a Microsoft Excel centric application with data being stored in a database for much more powerful reporting capabilities and it facilitates easy data importing and exporting between systems.
Performance Management
MIS DecisionWare, the Group's flagship performance management solution framework, has been enhanced with the launch of version 5.1.1. It has been strengthened with the addition of a raft of new security, backup, scalability, localisation and ease of integration capabilities. In addition it now incorporates MIS Designer which clearly demonstrates the strength of Systems Union's integration capabilities. It uses Serducts, a revolutionary meta-data layer technology, which enables reporting applications to deliver live reporting and analysis across multiple data sources, to build a staging database from which a data cube is created. Designer is capable of populating these data cubes incrementally to suit the needs of the business and also enables users to drill into the data for comprehensive and flexible reporting and analysis purposes. It also supports any of the pre-built Serducts including Axapta, SunSystems and Maximo and uses common icons and controls, resizable dialogs and graphical formats all of which enhance the user experience and maximise the return on investment.
MIS Enterprise Planning 2.2 is set to enhance an organisations ability to streamline operations and offers enhanced financial budget, currency conversion, dynamic report templates and workflow capabilities. Additionally, Systems Union released the next generation of the MIS Consolidation solution which delivers a Predefined and Flexible Data Model based on IFRS GAAP and a new consolidation rules engine which enables users to easily see, change and add rules. In addition Consolidation offers process flows, validations and exceptional usability levels. Standard onVision is also integrated with the solution enabling web reporting and data entry which maximises the timeliness and accuracy of information available to authorised users across the enterprise.
