This facilitated workshop will explore 'SME Engagement through the Supply Chain' through the experience of BT on the potential benefits and value of an integrated supply chain in construction and beyond along with that of Amara Partnership Ltd on utilising Local Supply Chains on Regeneration and New Build projects through their Consortium of SMEs project.
Delegates are provided further opportunity following the 1st day to continue discussions and networking in a less formal and more relaxed setting over dinner.

Today it is widely accepted that ICT is becoming a strategic asset for any organisation to deliver business improvement and achieve sustainable competitive advantage.
The 2nd of the event will focus on the strategic alignment of business and ICT with the experiences from both the construction industry and others sectors being presented.
The strategic thinking of ICT within the construction industry in terms of the trend in thinking, and future vision of UK industry leaders and innovators will also be explored.
From a research perspective progress of the UK strategic research agenda and its relation to the European agenda will be discussed by the National Platform working group.
