Vehicle tracking solutions business Masternaut has been named as one of the  UK's fastest-growing technology companies, in only its fifth year of  trading

The annual Sunday Times Tech Track 100 list ranks the  Leeds-based telematics supplier at number 63. With profits exceeding £1 million  against a turnover of over £14 million, more than 100 employees and a customer  base of 1,200 organisations, Masternaut has become the UK' key provider of vehicle tracking and mobile software solutions.

Masternaut's easy-to-implement and easy-to-use telematics solution does not  require customers to make large IT infrastructure investments, an advantage which has helped the company attract blue chip clients such as British Airways and United Biscuits. Customer satisfaction has proven key to Masternaut's success, with clients citing a host of benefits including significant cost savings, improved employee safety, instant access to real-time information and the ability to thoroughly analyse performance and boost efficiencies. 

Martin Port, Managing Director of Masternaut, said he was delighted the company had made such an impact in its first five years, culminating in a place in the Tech Track 100 league. Masternaut's impressive customer list includes larger enterprises such as Coca-Cola, Carillion and Unipart, but its telematics services are not just for big companies. Smaller firms are also gaining the benefit of implementing the company's satellite tracking services, and more than 100,000 vehicles in the UK  and Europe already use its real-time tracking technology.

The company is constantly developing innovative services, with recent developments including the GreenerFleet solution to help fleet operators reduce their carbon footprint, and a significant partnership between its mobile computing division Three X and O2 that has led to signing a £4 million deal with  the mobile network giant.
