Asite has launched a new version of their electronic tendering tool with extended flexibility and functionality.

Asite Tender 2.2 is highly configurable in the support it provides for managing the administration of the tender process. It helps to deliver a reduction in the cost of tendering through streamlining and automating the tender management process and makes it far easier to manage in a highly secure environment.

"Work worth billions of pounds is tendered in construction each year, involving a staggering amount of administration and materials. The new Asite Tender tool has been developed in collaboration with key industry players in construction and once companies have been set up to use Asite Tender, the tool is accessible from the Asite platform by logging onto asite.com. The only equipment needed to use the tender software is a PC and Internet connection.

The tool has won early approval from Birse Rail Limited, who has chosen it to provide an electronic tendering solution for their Structures Framework Contract in association with their client, Network Rail Infrastructures Limited.
