A non-exclusive world-wide distribution agreement has been signed between Microsoft Business Solutions (MBS) and TXT e-solutions, relating to TXT's Demand Planning software. The software has been developed by TXT, who retains the rights to the product as part of their suite of supply chain & customer management software.
MBS, a business group of Microsoft, offers a wide range of integrated, end-to-end business applications and services designed to help small, midmarket and corporate businesses become more connected with customers, employees, partners and suppliers.
Under the terms of the agreement, TXT's Demand Planning will be integrated to with MBS's suite of business applications: Microsoft Business Solutions-Navision, Axapta and Great Plains. The integrated software will be distributed by MBS internationally on a non-exclusive basis, through its network of more than 6,000 partners and resellers. TXT will receive licence royalties for each sale, and provide paid services to MBS partners and resellers.
Mr A. Braga-Illa, Chairman of TXT e-solutions, said: "This agreement opens a major indirect sales channel for TXT's Supply Chain software for small and midmarket companies, and will strongly complement our continuing direct, and indirect, sales activities."
