Exel unveils new look CRM

Exel Computer Systems, authors of EFACS specialist software for manufacturers, has revealed their newly extended and fully integrated CRM module.

EFACS now offers comprehensive CRM with added functionality, underpinned by a powerful document management repository, which enables manufacturers to record and track all correspondence, gain rapid and easy access to it, and place it in relevant folders associated with particular documents. For example, correspondence relating to a part query could be easily attached to a CAD drawing.

"EFACS CRM functionality is fully integrated throughout all areas of the software to facilitate a more customer focused organization," commented Phil Richardson, Marketing Manager for Exel. "It enables manufacturers to manage interactions and collaboration effectively along the supply chain, from suppliers through to distributors or agents and ultimately customers, increasing sales and improving relationships."

Specialist modules are available within EFACS CRM to help in particular areas, such as the Customer & Supplier Portals, which allow secured access into the EFACS system over the Internet. This enables customers to investigate stock levels, pricing and invoicing, to raise quotations and track progress of orders 24 hours a day. Where required, online payment facilities and a shopping cart can be added to the module. Suppliers can also view production and purchase schedules and invitations to tender can be published in a secure environment.

Additional modules include those for customer communication and support and sales and marketing.

"In today's marketplace securing new customers and retaining them efficiently and cost-effectively is more important than ever," concluded Phil Richardson. "Information is key to this. Knowing which areas of activity are the most profitable and which are least efficient, for example, provides opportunity for improved services to customers and increased profitability for the manufacturer."
