The IIS Group is delighted to have reached an agreement with Cara Pharmacy to supply a centralised SAP Business One solution, powered by SAP HANA, and with certain incorporated B1 Apps to manage its stores across Ireland.
The popular pharmacy will deploy the ERP solution along with SAP Customer Checkout to manage its in-store financial transactions along with back office functions across its 15 Irish stores. In addition, Cara Pharmacy will also receive associated award-winning services and support from the IIS Group.
SAP Business One will provide Cara Pharmacy with end-to-end business management software that will allow the company to manage warehouse activities along with financial processes in one solution.
Morgan Browne, Chief Executive, IIS Group, said the new solution would help the pharmacy integrate all activities within a single, scalable solution. Before selecting SAP Business One, Cara Pharmacy was using several separate solutions to manage everyday activities and a number of databases to store key business intelligence. However, as Canice Nicholas, Joint Director, Cara Pharmacy, explains, these disparate solutions were causing a number of issues across the business. But with introduction of SAP Business One, Cara Pharmacy plans to streamline operations.
“Once SAP Business One is implemented we expect that the management team can coordinate daily operations with greater visibility and control; helping us to not only seize growth opportunities, but provide the same standard of high level customer service across all 15 of our stores with ease.” He added that once SAP Business One had been identified as a preferred solution, it was an easy choice to partner with the IIS Group once they had spoken to some existing customers of the SAP Gold Partner.
