EDI Solution will streamline operations and maximise ERP software investment
Systems integration specialist, Cooper Software, is delighted to announce that they have delivered a robust data integration software solution to leading whole food supplier, Whitworths, to enhance their existing ERP system. The project focused on delivering Electronic Data Exchange (EDI) software to and from Whitworths’ ERP system in order to improve the efficiency, speed and processes across their business.
The data integration solution will be used to manage Whitworths’ manufacturing processes including Procurement, Quality Management, Inventory Tracking and Control, Sales and Manufacturing. It automates the sharing of data between external enterprise business systems while providing the facility for system administrators to create and amend the data interfaces in operation, to review the messages exchanged between systems and to be able to review errors and minimise impact on the business. It also provides the ability to share data with external partners.
As part of the project engagement, Cooper Software also provided Whitworths with an expert ERP consultant who was dedicated to the project as Project Manager, providing the resources, knowledge and expertise required to help Whitworths’ end-users solve any ERP related problems, help with the systems design and to deal with day to day tasks during their implementation.
