European manufacturer improves visibility with m-hance

Construction CRM solution to be rolled out on a SaaS model

Cordek Limited, Europe’s largest manufacturer and supplier of specialist polystyrene solutions, is implementing a construction industry CRM system from m-hance to support its growth strategy. m-hance’s solution will improve project visibility and enable Cordek to increase the effectiveness of its business development campaigns. The new system, which will be deployed in a phased approach on a software as a service (SaaS) cloud model, will go-live in December 2013.

Cordek conducted a large scale review of its business to determine whether its existing Project-SalesAchiever CRM software was able to fulfil its future needs for comprehensive information relating to project intelligence, client management and sales and marketing campaign reporting. After reviewing the market, Cordek selected a construction industry CRM solution from m-hance in preference to alternative systems to support its expansion plans.

Grant Naris, Financial Director at Cordek Limited, explains: “Historically we have been very successful in our chosen markets. But in order to realise our ambitious growth strategy we needed a world-leading system in place to enable us to adopt a more customer-centric and collaborative approach to take us to the next level.”

Naris continues: “We considered a number of systems and suppliers but m-hance stood out. The company has a dedicated construction division and its specialist team was able to demonstrate a deep understanding of our sector and quickly understood our requirements. Importantly, m-hance is continually investing in its technology and was able to offer us a tailored construction industry solution that met all of our needs compared to other out-of-the-box systems we evaluated.”

m-hance’s construction industry CRM system will boost collaboration and visibility between Cordek’s internal and external sales teams and technical department by enabling them to easily update and access accurate information relating to its clients, contacts, and projects within a single system. In addition authorised users can easily create, assign and manage project and client service activities from initial contact through to resolution, ensuring customer relationship lifecycles are maximised at each point of engagement to drive ongoing opportunities and successful lead conversion.

Furthermore, by utilising the system’s advanced reporting functionality, Cordek will be able to more effectively plan and execute sales and marketing activities by creating tailored e-shots to individual contacts and accurately measure the success of each marketing campaign to make better informed decisions concerning its future strategy.

With a number of field-based staff, m-hance’s ability to offer a number of mobile (smartphone and tablet) options for accessing the system was also crucial to empower all users with easy access to information, streamline the capture of data and enable collaboration between Cordek’s teams.

Naris comments: “m-hance’s system will significantly improve efficiency and collaboration by providing our sales and technical teams with a 360 degree view of our customers, contractors and building specifiers with rapid access to real-time data via the cloud. By improving staff productivity this will allow us to focus on adding greater value through harnessing and building relationships with existing and prospective clients.”

Naris adds: “Having a single and accurate view of our customer and project data will also enable us to build closer relationships and drive customer retention. This is vital to sustaining our competitive advantage as the market leader in providing premier polystyrene solutions to a range of specialist construction requirements. “
