In its latest update, business management software specialist OrderWise has launched an app to keep users connected to key data while on the go.
Built for the Android platform, the app works seamlessly with the main OrderWise system and integrates email, telephone and map facilities.
It has offline capabilities and information is automatically synchronised and updated accurately in real time when you’re connected to the internet.
“For any businesses selling remotely via reps out in the field or at trade shows, having the tools needed to close a sale can be a constant struggle,” said Jon Roberts, Sales & Marketing Manager at OrderWise.
“In many cases, staff will need to ring to check stock levels and pricing information before contacting their team at the warehouse so that the order can be processed, which can mean goods are oversold or that the sale falls through altogether.
“However by using the OrderWise app, staff can make the most of sales opportunities when they are presented and significantly reduce the number of steps needed and time spent to close the deal.”
The app allows users to check prices, raise sales orders, view customer details and keep track of recent activity at any time.
Jon added: “Although OrderWise customers can already take orders on the go by using our mobile devices, the arrival of the app means businesses can experience the capabilities of the software on their own existing devices.”
