Red Arch Manufacturing LTD (RA), is one of the UK’s leading automotive original equipment, small/medium volume component and accessory parts specialists. The business has invested in Access Group with financial solution Access Dimensions, MRP solution Access FactoryMaster and planning and scheduling solution Access Orchestrate, to optimise processes throughout the business following a move to larger premises.
Alan Clubb, systems and quality manager for Red Arch Manufacturing, explains: “We recently moved into new premises so that the company can begin manufacturing new parts in-house. RA has outgrown its existing MRP and finance software and needed a proven replacement system to manage the additional sales orders, works orders, purchase orders and financials around our new growth plans.”
RA selected Access as they proved to be a respected and established provider of solutions. The ability to meet RA’s requirements without additional development costs were another contributing factor to the partnership. Alan adds: “Overall the cost of the package, including support was very appealing to us.”
Access’ solutions will enable much more cost effective processing of customer call offs in the MRP, Access FactoryMaster. The time saved will allow RA to look at other areas for improvement. The ability to plan work capacity through Access Orchestrate will maximise productivity whilst minimising stock. Access Dimensions will offer greater financial control and reporting.
