Street furniture for website x 467“We can certainly expect lots of challenges in 2015 and beyond,” said Dr Casey Loo, the president of the Internaional Alliance of Furnishing Publications, a network comprising the world’s leading furniture industry magazines.  He summed up: “To stay competitive, it is vital to stay informed, innovate, and evolve over time – just remember that change is the only constant.”

The furniture industry contributes £9.4billion to the country’s GDP, which equates to 1.8% of manufacturing output and employs 115,000 people within 8,116 companies.
