IFS, the global enterprise applications company, in collaboration with TomTom, the global navigation and mapping company, announces a major feature enhancement to the IFS Mobile Workforce Management solution.
With this launch, IFS is enhancing the capabilities of its enterprise service management software suite by incorporating TomTomTraffic via the TomTom Routing API. By applying the TomTom Routing API, and taking into account real time traffic conditions affecting ongoing or committed travel activities, IFS Mobile Workforce Management users can benefit from more accurate routing, improved time-to-destination estimations and staff cost efficiencies.
IFS selected TomTom because of the global scope and extent of its mapping data, historical traffic data that is based on a database of trillions of measurements, and real time traffic data derived from millions of connected devices globally.
